80-105 Series Landcruiser Front Long Arm Weld-in Kit

Limited time! Pre-production run; for a limited time we have positions open for the cruiser long arm kits at a discounted price of $2400 Inc GST, (this is only open for manual transmission vehicles as we are still working on developing the brackets to self align on the automatic chassis.)

 

 Although the Landcruiser radius arm is the most favorable factory radius arm, it has its limitations, with this kit we have overcame every issue to the best possible extent short of link suspension geometry.

 

These solid 25mm thick BisAlloy 80 Q/T radius arms are 300mm longer then factory, this works in our favor to lower pinion and caster roll throughout the suspensions travel, the longer arms also lower your anti-dive figures, which will make the car feel much more stable under braking.

 

We won't give an anti-dive figure, as every vehicle will be different due to ride height and centre of gravity amongst other factors.

Another great feature to the long arms is that because their operating angle is a smaller range then a shorter arm, you get more possibility for articulation before the bushes bind, without sacrificing on the bush separation that if lowered contributes to loss of axle control (wheel hop when off-road)

 

All the chassis brackets are self aligning to a chassis that was factory manual, they use the four standard cross-member bolts to locate.

 

 

Kit includes:

 

2x 6mm Chassis brackets

1x Heavy duty high clearance crossmember

2x Long Radius Arms with new bushes fitted

4x Grade 8.8 zinc plated M12 bolts and nyloc nuts for the crossmember

2x Grade 8.8 zinc plated M18 bolts and nyloc nuts for the Radius arms

**This kit is WELD IN, The factory cross-member bolt holes are simply for alignment, the M10 factory hardware is NOT substantial enough to mount suspension components from.

 

This modification as with any major suspension geometry changes and chassis modification MUST be engineered in Australia, please consult your engineer for their desired weld procedures and other standards to ensure a safe and legal installation**
