N70 Fabricated Rear Sump

The Mechfab Industries 1KD Rear sump has been designed specifically for use when carrying out a solid axle swap in the front of an N70 Hilux or 120S Prado, This sump allows ample room for the front diff housing and steering drag-link at full bump, we also have included side reliefs in the mid section of the sump which allows a diff center to tuck in very nicely at full bump. Usually this requires cutting up the factory sump which requires great care to be taken to ensure there is no oil leaks and that the sump wont fatigue and crack over time, Modifying the factory sump also introduces the possibility of warpage which can lead to chasing your tail fixing leaks, trying to "massage" the flange back straight and ultimately just wasting time!

Our rear sump is fabricated from 3mm sheet metal, fully back purged and TIG welded, fixtured to ensure minimal warpage around the flange which is then machined dead flat on a mill to ensure a seamless installation process, no messing around trying to fix problems that shouldnt exist! 
The oil pickup is a modified factory unit (Either send us yours or organize having one sent to us for the process) with 304 stainless steel, fully back purged and TIG welded to ensure no contaminants or oxidation enters the oil-pump of your engine.

Sumps come finished by standard with black powder-coat.
